This is the HP Mini Netbook with Intel®  Atom™  Processor in Pink Chic! So I ordered this a few days ago, since it's backordered it won't arrive until the beginning of September. I'll be starting school in a few weeks and a portable laptop is something that will be essential. Right now i'm using my mom's Toshiba, but I had a huge VAIO. For one it was not portable, heavy as hell, felt like 8lbs, and second the battery dies in less than 20 minutes, even just sitting and not being used it died. Basically it sucks and I need a new one. But I will keep it just to put large files and things like that. Any how back to the HP...

So I was in target yesterday doing dorm shopping and this little guy caught my eye. I've been wanting to upgrade my little Cannon digi-cam, and I knew I wanted a Nikon. Since i'm not like super advanced in photography I think this will be a nice step up for me, until I get the big guy. It's called the Nikon Super- Zoom Digital Camera (L100.) Specs are such: 10 megapixels, 3" LCD Screen, 15x optical zoom and 13fpd. The bad? It takes four AA batteries, BUT users claim that the batteries do not need to be changed often .. yipee .. for only $250 this is a great buy for a Nikon, i'm gonna order mine next week - got bils to pay this week haha .. but more on that later .. order yours here at target.com.

Okay according to Instyle's 15th Anniversary Special Addition's 10 Ways to look more polished here are some of my favs

1. MANAGE YOUR MANI - Manicures are essential, and everyone will tell you that. Even if you don't like color, you can get clear and your nails will look FAB. You're always communicating with your hands, so manicured nails is def a necessity.

2. DON'T FORGET THE SIGNATURE SCENT - You must wear perfume 24/7. Scent is a part of first impression. Wear something light and lovely. I prefer Daisy by Marc Jacobs, it's my absolute favorite.

3. PRACTICE YOUR POSTURE - "You don;t need to be erect and stiff to be taken seriously," according to body-language expert Patti Wood. Posture is important don't be a sloucher .. it just looks bad and ungraceful.

 4. SKIP THE SCRUNCHIE - Baretts are the sophisticated version of the youthful elastic, try this france luxe faux tortoise barrette, $18.

5. PLAN AHEAD - Take an hour of time and schedule all of your appointments and write them down as well as storing them in your cell, that way you won't be stuck with busy eyebrows and you'll have a hard copy incase your phone crashes .. technology these days.
